Achievements to Date

- Adopted constitution for tenants association and elected officers
- Attended TPAS conference, and took part in a presentation of TP work at MHA

Residents therefore asked to undertake the work themselves and MHA to only meet the material costs. This was agreed and the initiative achieved a successful outcome.
- An outdoor launch event was held in the first summer of the tenant association, all organised by the residents. It included food stalls, activities and games. Special guests were the local councillor and MHA staff.
- Residents organised activities for the summer holiday for the children by obtaining internal and external funding.
- Residents organised a jumble sale to raise funds for the association.
- Residents held a Christmas social event for all the adults on the scheme.
- A planning day meeting was held for all the residents and the local councillor. An external consultant facilitated the event. An action plan was developed.
