What We Aim to Achieve

  • Minimise the likelihood of anti-social behaviour occurring through effective preventative measures
  • Establish preventative measures as an alternative to costly enforcement action
  • Encourage relevant agencies to accept their responsibility to implement legislation.

We will also co-operate with relevant agencies to tackle anti-social behaviour and use appropriate enforcement action, including legal action, to resolve the problem of anti-social behaviour (where required).

Measures for Tackling Anti-social Behaviour

  • Issuing of clear and firm warnings
  • Multi-agency approach
  • Use of mediation services
  • Use of professional witnesses
  • Use of CCTV cameras
  • Practical support through our staff or other agencies for witnesses and victims of anti-social behaviour
  • Exclusions from our waiting list
