MEET THE CHAIR OF MAH'S BOARDRuby Bhatti, Vice-Chair of Manningham Housing Association

Ruby Bhatti, born 1970, a practising solicitor, was first elected Vice-Chair by Manningham Housing Association's Board in November 2005 and then elected Chair of the Association on 29th November, 2006. Ruby joined MHA's Board in 1998. In addition, Ruby is on the Association's Supported Housing sub-committee, dealing with the Association's directly managed supported housing services for women fleeing domestic violence. Ruby is also a voluntary director of Firebird Homes Ltd, an unregistered subsidiary of Manningham Housing. Ruby combines her professional and voluntary interests with the exciting role of being a wife and a mother.

Ruby's election as Chair of Manningham Housing makes her the first woman in the history of MHA to occupy this important post. She brings to her post distinctive skills and experience gained from her professional and personal responsibilities.

It's a great pleasure to have Ruby as our Chair.
