FEMALE PROJECT WORKER
Full-time post (37 hours)
Salary: £19,206 - £24,934
Right now we need a Female Project Worker to join our team. Reporting to the Project Manager your main duties are to provide support for families. Working to individual personal development plans you will assist them to develop realistic, culturally relevant resettlement plans. You’ll have to identify useful support services and work with external agencies. Self-motivated and positive, you will have good inter-personal skills and be familiar with the issues affecting black and minority ethnic communities relating to the care and protection of children. You will be required to work a shift pattern which includes night shifts. Applicants must have the ability to communicate in Urdu, Punjabi or Mirpuri.
For the above posts we will be offering up to 30 days annual leave and a contributory pension scheme. Posts will be subject to enhanced CRB checks. These posts are exempt from both the Sex Discrimination Act (1975) where sections 7(2)(E) and 7(2)(D) apply, and the Race Relations Act (1976) where section 5(2)(D) applies.
