Where to get help

If you believe you are being abused or worried you may commit domestic abuse, read the Domestic abuse: get help during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak detailed guidance on how to get help which includes contact information for organisations and services which offer support and advice.

If you are in immediate danger, call 999 and ask for the police – the police will continue to respond to emergency calls.

If you suspect that your neighbours or those in your community are victims of domestic abuse, we encourage you to report it to the police.

If you are in danger and unable to talk on the phone, dial 999 and listen to the questions from the operator and respond by coughing or tapping the handset if you can (If you are in danger, you will be asked to dial “55). Click here for the guidelines.

Sayed Uddin is a highly experienced professional in the field of social housing, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and a passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives. After a four-year hiatus from working in social housing, during which he took a break from work and explored different opportunities, Sayed has made the decision to return to this field, recognising its significance and the value it holds for individuals and communities.

With almost 20 years of experience in the sector, Sayed has covered a wide range of frontline services, including income collection, estate management, resident engagement, and allocations, among others. His extensive background and expertise have equipped him with a deep understanding of the multifaceted aspects of social housing and the crucial role it plays in providing stable and secure housing for individuals and families.

Sayed derives great satisfaction from his work, knowing that he can positively impact the lives of others through the provision of quality housing and associated services. He firmly believes that access to safe and affordable housing is a fundamental right for all, and he is dedicated to ensuring that residents’ needs and concerns are addressed effectively.

As Sayed rejoins the social housing field, he eagerly looks forward to meeting the residents he will serve. He is committed to fostering positive relationships, engaging with the community, and working collaboratively to create an environment that enhances the well-being and quality of life for all residents.
