Millions of households across the UK are struggling to make their incomes stretch to cover the rising cost of living. That is why the government is providing over £15 billion in further support.

  • £650             Poorest households on means-tested benefits (main picture)

Payments – July & Autumn 2022 to an individual bank account

  • Universal Credit
  • Child Tax Credit / Working Tax Credit
  • Income-based JSA
  • Income-based ESA
  • Income support
  • Pension Credit

 

  • £300             Pensioners eligible for Winter Fuel Payments

Payments – November/December 2022

  • £150 Disability benefit recipients on PIP/DLA/Attendance Allowance

Payment – September 2022

  • £400             Energy bill rebate – support for all families

Payment – October 2022

 

*** Eligible households could qualify for all/or combination of the above awards         

 

  • The Warm Home Discount is increased by £10 to £150 this year and eligibility is expected to be expanded.

 

  • Household Support Fund – via local authority – extended from October 2022 – to March 2023
